This weeks tiyul started with a visit to the Air Force Museum in Be'er Sheva. This museum displays a huge collection of airplanes and helicopters which have been used throughout Israel's history.

Displayed planes include everything from WWII German Messerschmitts to French bombers to modern day American made F-15 fighters

This plane was considered to resemble a shark....therfore getting this cool paint job

"Let's go for a spin"

"Cleared for take-off"

Later, we arrived at the Bedouin camp site, where we would be staying the night

Historically, the Bedouins engaged in nomadic herding and agriculture.  They earned income by transporting goods and people across the desert.  Scarcity of water and of pastoral land required them to move constantly.  These days, some Bedouins host tourist in large tents and provide many hospitalities such as camel rides, sleeping quarters, and local cuisine.

"Okay....these 20 matresses should be fine for me!!"
